As a developing leader and mentor to new teachers, I created this parent-teacher conference form as a way to help a new teacher prepare for conferences. This artifact is an example of the work I have done to strengthen my instructional leadership through mentoring new teachers so as to aid in the school culture and instructional program conducive to student learning and staff growth |

I created this artifact while working on deepening my understanding of what new teachers need to know. This information sheet can be used as a way to help a new teacher feel comfortable and aware of information that is specific to their new school. I have included this artifact as evidence in my strategic leadership through supporting the school community. |
During the 2014-2015 school year I joined Lincoln Public School's Learning Partners. Learning Partners was created to give new teachers frequent and descriptive feedback and educational leadership students the opportunity to apply and practice what we have learned about the teacher appraisal process. The partnership gave me the chance to practice collecting evidence through two informal observations and one formal observation. Through a post-conference conversation with my learning partner strategies for students in writer's workshop were discussed. These artifacts displayed here are examples of visual organizers I had created and then shared with my learning partner as a way to support her.
